The NSW Liberal-National Party Government are cutting the pay of over 2500 local public sector workers including nurses, health workers, police officers and schools teachers.
Across the Tweed, there are 619 teachers, 1,110 health workers and 139 police officers who will have their pay cut.
Geoff Provest must explain why he voted in Parliament to give a pay cut to over 2,500 workers in our local community.

To the Honourable Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly:
This petition of citizens of New South Wales brings to the attention of the House the NSW Government’s plans to cut the pay of more than 400,000 public sector workers across NSW.
We, the undersigned petitioners, ask the Legislative Assembly to urgently pass legislation blocking this proposed pay cut and to commit to protecting the pay and conditions of all workers across NSW.
